What is the Pentecost Festival?
The church has left the building...
A massive weekend party in central London with hundreds of free events and high impact performances. A cross-generational, multi-cultural celebration of the Church’s creativity and compassion filling scores of venues in the nations Capital. On 9th-11th May 2008 the first ever Pentecost Festival took place which was enjoyed by thousands. In 2009, the festival will take place 29th - 31st May.
Is this for me?
Do you like music, comedy, sports, fashion, debate, movies, food, colour, social action, theatre, story-telling, clubbing, ecology or dance? If yes, then this is the festival for you. A far cry from hard wooden pews and stuffy services, this festival is bursting out of the church walls and spilling into the streets.
