Accessibility

The physical barriers to getting around London using public transport are now fewer than ever, particularly on the buses. As of January 2006 the entire London bus network has been wheelchair accessible via low floor buses and ramps.

The situation at Underground stations is currently less favourable to wheelchair users, but this situation is slowly channing. By 2010, 25% of stations will be step-free which will hopefully mean that by the time Pentecost takes place in 2008 at least some of the Northern Line stations will be usable. As another alternative, the vast majority of cabs are accessible and this option also minimises travel between venue and access to transport.
